'DLFED 1' rose Description

Class:
Shrub, Species / Wild, Species Cross.
Bloom:
Deep pink. Mild to strong, linseed oil fragrance. 5 to 8 petals. Average diameter 2". Small, small to medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, flat bloom form. Prolific, once-blooming spring or summer. Small, pointed buds.
Habit:
Arching, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, lax, spreading. Small, medium, matte, medium green foliage.
Height: 4" to 6" (10 to 15cm). Width: 4" to 6" (10 to 15cm).
Growing:
Can be used for garden or shrub. Very vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. flowers drop off cleanly. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Prune lightly or not at all. This rose blooms on old wood.
