This is perhaps the most richly colored of the Hybrid Fedtschenkoanas bred from Kim Rupert's 'Orangeade' X R. fedtschenkoana hybrid. Considering its pedigree, I have no reason to think this is anything but a tetraploid. It is most certainly being explored as a breeding plant in 2010, with the goal of first restoring remontancy (it may have some remontancy itself as it matures, but this has yet to be determined.)
It has some of the pollen parent's odd linseed oil fragrance but combined with the more familiar "old rose" sweet fragrance component.
