Bred by Arno Schlick (Germany, 2007).

Hybrid Polyantha.  

Light pink.  Strong, citrus, damask, myrrh fragrance.  40 to 60 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, decorative, fragrant buds.  

Medium, arching, armed with thorns / prickles, lax, spreading.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 39" to 6'7" (100 to 200cm).  Width: 39" to 6'7" (100 to 200cm).

USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for garden or landscape.  Very hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  can be trained as a climber.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, susceptible to blackspot , very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.  

This is one out of two dozen seedlings from that crossing. Its the one which is flowering recurrently the best. And its the one with the best odour, a very strong damask-myrrh mixture, which is very pleasant.
It gets blackspot a bit after August, but no mildew at all and no rust at all. The foto is taken in one of my seedlings beds, where also ill and dying roses stand together with the better ones. I do not use any chemicals here.

Tetraploid

I will use this seedling for further crossings to get roses with strong scent, good disease resistancy and smaller flowers that won't hang over down to earth too much. Thats the concept of Guillots Rosa Generosa Roses and I thought its a good idea.
