Bloom:
Salmon-pink. Brilliant pink, that seems to have more orange shadings in some climates.. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 2". Small, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small, rounded buds.
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright. Medium, glossy, dark green, holly-like foliage.
Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. flowers drop off cleanly. produces decorative hips. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
Wonderful little shrub rose! It grows dense, tidy under 2 feet with ultra glossy foliage. Produces masses of hot pink flowers that open to show stamens. Always makes people smile, self cleaning and even produces colourful hips.
