Origin:
Bred by Paul Barden (United States, 2009).
Class:
Wichurana.
Bloom:
Overall impression is of a bright Cherry red..  Moderate, apple, carnation fragrance.  5 to 6 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Small, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, arching.  Small, glossy, dark green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.
Growing:
Hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  can be trained as a climber.  flowers drop off cleanly.  heat tolerant.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
Breeder's notes:
Presumed diploid, as both parents are known diploids. I regard this as a potentially useful breeding variety for further research. It may be a good candidate to combine with Rugosa hybrids.

Too little is known about the mature size of the variety at this time to provide size estimates. It is a prostrate grower, potentially useful as a so-called "ground cover" variety.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Ploidy:
Diploid
Notes:
The seed parent, 0-47-19 = Rosa wichurana Crépin × Floradora
