Origin:
Discovered by François Lacharme (France, 1864).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Xavier Olibo'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Dark red, darker shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, dense, well-branched.  Small foliage.  
Height of 4' (120 cm).  Width of 3' (90 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
