Did extensive searching to see if this rose can take partial shade, and very happy to find Nastarana's comment from forum. Thank you !!
nastarana(5a) - "I grew it in the central valley, in shade, and it did very well. So, this is one which can take some shade. It does bloom on top of very long stalks, but the plant does put out a lot of stalks. It might do well at the back of a border, with other, shorter plants in front. The foliage is an unusual and attractive pale grass green color. I think it might look well among foliage plants. The flowers are outstanding for color, fragrance and shape." Nastarana (5a).

A little slow to get started but a nice rose overall. Given a sunny location she will bloom and her reputation for her fragrance is true - delightful!

Her canes are firm and straight, she'll grown into a nice shrub. The bloom stems are firm. The blooms are fairly large size.

Every rose has its thorns and this is true for Yolande - well spaced but sharp.
