Origin:
Bred by Fr. (Padre) George M.A. Schoener, SJ (United States, before 1930).
Class:
Pernetiana.
Bloom:
Vermilion, orange-pink shading.  Vermillion red with shrimp pink infusion.
Breeder's notes:
The color of this entrancingly beautiful new rose is vermillion red with shrimp pink suffusion, just as if faintly breathed on it. [words obscured] sufficient, because it is of the most sparkling brilliancy, and the plants are of healthy growth. The shape of the flower is ideal. A most happy result in recent rose production.
