Bred by E. Gurney Hill Co. (United States, before 1926).
Introduced in United States by Hill Floral Products Co. in 1926 as 'Gaiety'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Gaiety'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Vermilion - orange, red shading, buff shading, ages to deep pink .  Indian red and silver.  Strong fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost), upright, well-branched.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
