Introduced in United States by Conard & Jones in 1904 as 'Birdie Blye'.

Hybrid Multiflora.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Medium green foliage.  
Height of 4' to 5' (120 to 150 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  
Notes:
Birdie Blye was an American pianist. 'Birdie Blye' in Sangerhausen is mislabeled and is 'Albertine'.
