Bloom:
The colors vary between cream and salmon, peachy salmon, and pastel yellow and salmon pink..  Moderate, spice, sweetbriar, wild rose fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Small, leafy sepals, long buds.  
Habit:
Tall, arching, bushy, upright, well-branched.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).  Width: 5' to 7' (150 to 215cm).
Growing:
Can be used for hedge, pillar or specimen.  Very hardy.  very vigorous.  drought resistant.  flowers drop off cleanly.  heat tolerant.  produces decorative hips.  rain tolerant.  suitable for a pillar.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.  Prune after flowering is finished.  Prune dead wood.  Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.  This rose blooms on old wood.

It is possible that this rose is hexaploid. It was tested and now grows at a forest edge, and is not afflicted by any local diseases or pests. Dog Father is actually 3 sisters intertwined into one mass. I believe one of them, the smallest one with more peach tint to the blooms, is pentaploid.
