Origin:
Bred by Jean Pernet (père) (France, 1889).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Madame Bertrand'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, crimson reverse.  Very large, very double bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
Vigorous.
