"Mary Frith's Red Climber" rose Description
Bloom:
Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, ruffled bloom form.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Possibly an Alister Clark rose. 'Billy Boiler' 1927, or 'Princeps' 1942 are being considered. From an historic garden. The elderly owner has said the rose was planted when she arrived many years ago. It has not grown all that well in my (Patricia Routley's) Northcliffe garden as it became shaded out. It was moved in 2016 to a more congenial location.
