"Brightside Cream' was found growing in the garden of Brightside, the Paget home of Mrs. Gladys Frith (Society President 1958-1959). It is a strong-scented rose, very healthy, needing a lot of space in which to spread out. Its habit is much like a Noisette, needing support for its long branches. Blooms all year-round. It is registered in Modern Roses 12 as a Noisette.

p351. "Brightside Cream". Probably a Noisette. large vigorous climber with clusters of double cream flowers. Flowers about 3" (8cm) across. Strong scent. Foliage mid-green. Blooms all year round. Called Brightside after the home of a past president of the Bermuda Rose society. Continuous. Very fragrant. Prefers sun. Availability limited. 12' x 8' (3.5 x 2.5m).

The foliage is dark green and the flowers appear in clusters with short stems, opening to loose semi-double blooms, a soft creamy colour fading to white, 3" across. Blooms all year round.
