Origin:
Bred by Henry Matheson (H.M.) Eddie (Canada, 1952).
Introduced in Canada by Eddie, H.M., & Sons, Ltd. in 1951 as 'Burnaby'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1953 as 'Burnaby'.
Introduced in France by Pépinières Minier in 1959 as 'Burnaby'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Cream, darker center.  None to mild fragrance.  56 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 4¼' (up to 130cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
