Bred by Pierre Rousseau (France, 1839).
Introduced in France by Pierre Rousseau in 1841 as 'Korosine'.
Class:
Damask Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Violet-red.  Moderate fragrance.  Very double bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Rounded.  Dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.
