Nelson's Florida Roses is selling a sport of this, called Anne McKinnon. According to them, where Calico is gold and pink, Anne McKinnon shades more towards cream and pink. I just bought one on Saturday, and I can't wait to see the open bloom.

I have this rose for about 1 year ... it is aproximately 4 feet now, but it's growing up to 5-6 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Did very well during the hurricanes and is one of the roses how is not infected with black spots ... so far. It seems to be very easy going.

Calico is a wonderful rose! I have pictures of mine at : http://www.gardenerscorner.com/Calico.html Thank god for friends, a friend of mine whom lives in Florida, mail this rose to me in a 5 gallon bucket, that was the only way I could get it. At the time it was not available from any mail-order company, and as far as I know that is still true. In our extreme desert heat, on fortuniana root stock, this rose is doing very well in my desert garden.
