Text on reverse:
COMMON CHINA.
(Monthly)
A persistent blooming garden rose, suitable for massing, bedding, or hedges. It is a vigorous grower, and requires very little pruning other than the removal of dead wood, excepting to keep the plant in shape. Will thrive in almost any soil and situation, and is therefore quite hardy. Introduced in 1796, it still remains one of the most popular in its section.
