ALFRED COLOMB.
(Hybrid Perpetual.)
Although introduced in 1865, this is still one of the leading red exhibition roses. Flowers are large and freely produced, and its habit of growth is vigorous. When required for exhibition the previous season's growth should be pruned back to within three "eyes," but when required for bedding purposes very little pruning is necessary.
