MRS. SAM McGREDY
(Hybrid Tea)
Introduced 1929
A shade of orange, copper and pink
One of the most distinct and pleasing varieties we have. The blooms are large, well shaped, and very freely produced, especially in the autumn. The reddish-coloured foliage contrasts well with the bloom, and makes perhaps the most beautiful Rose we have in our gardens to-day. Fragrant. The habit of growth is strong and upright. With rain the blooms are inclined to lose a little of their brightness, .but they still remain very attractive. It requires moderate pruning the third week in March to four eyes. Awarded a Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
