This rose sometimes produces oddly colored blooms with discolored outer petals and solid blotches of red and yellow on the interior. Without any science to back me up it nevertheless seems to me that this strange coloration may be at least partially due to the plant's inability to take up nutrients efficiently. It is very sparsely foliaged, but what leaves it has frequently display different shades of pink, yellow and white mixed in with the green. My plant is own root from Vintage grown in a pot.
