My Paul Neyron was light pink (blah), even with horse manure plus being own-root. Then I tried Paul grafted on Dr.Huey, and that was so bad ... died within a month. How's loamy is your Paul Neyron's soil? Can your hand goes right through the soil? My clay is so hard that I need a steel scoop to go through. I'll try Paul Neyron again as grafted-on-Dr.Huey next year in pot, with loamy soil.
