Beautiful blooms! How big are they in your climate and how old are your plants? Thanks!

2016 spring flood almost killed 1st year Madame Issac Pereire, so I had to move it. It sat there for months with no leaves, so I thought it's dead, until I gave it SOLUBLE fertilizer, and it came back this year. I would consider it as a 2nd year own-root, from the time it almost died of spring flood. It' short, 2 x 2, but it's spreading wider every month.

Mine are almost six months in the ground from tiny gallon pots. Did great with winter right after planting. My canes are arching so they seem only four feet tall but they are actually pushing six feet in length. I didn't expect that kind of growth so am trying to figure out what to do with them!

Yours are beautiful, thanks for the info!

Jay-jay told me it's safest to prune Old Garden rose after blooming. MIP was pruned & killed below my ankle by my harsh winter, but it grew fast to produce summer blooms.

Thank you! If mine was 2 by 2 and fragrant like yours, I would be so happy!
