The YORK ROSE & GARDEN SOCIETY was founded in 1979 and is affiliated with the Ontario Horticultural Association (OHA) and the Canadian Rose Society, and the American Rose Society, New York District. . It is a non-profit educational organization dedicated mainly to the cultivation and enjoyment of roses. Today most of our members are amateurs who grow roses and have a wide interest in gardening.
Meetings: They take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons in March, April, May, June, September, October and November.
The Civic Garden Center is located in Edwards Gardens, at Leslie St. and Lawrence Ave. East in North York.
