After Louis Parmentier's death in April of 1847, his collection of thousands of roses was auctioned off on Thursday, 24 June 1847. This is the catalogue for that sale.
The second part of the catalogue lists more than 800 of Parmentier's own seedlings, some of which were in commerce before his death, and some of which may have been introduced to commerce after his death with different names, and with others taking credit for their creation.
