George,

I am curious about a couple of things. First of all, I would like to say, I love your roses.

1.Where could I purchase the Canadian White Star, Canadian North Star and the Gerda Hnatyshyn?

2. Every year, due to our rainy spring, my roses always end up with spots on the leaves, and then yellows, and then eventually falls off. So all I have are bushes of roses with tons of blooms (I won't complain about that), but no leaves. How can I prevent this? I put fungi and spot'n meldew preventative powder already.

Can't wait to hear from you,
Cath

Hi,

I'm sure George will be pleased to address your question directly but in the meanwhile let me point out you can locate suppliers for George's roses by seaching for them using our rose search and clicking on the AVAILABLE FROM tab to view a list of potential suppliers.

And yes, they sure are beautiful.

Hi Cath,
As HMF pointed out, you can go to everyone of my roses listed on HMF and click on : AVAILABLE FROM.
Just copy this link for ALL the Mander roses :
http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/l.php?i=H428&tab=3

Canadian White Star is only available from Hortico in E. Canada. You also asked for ----Canadian North Star---- it's correct name is "Canadian Northlight".
For Gerda Hnatyshyn you will have to ask Select Roses, they can tell you more about it as it is not my rose. Select Roses you find on my web-sites link page.
Since you gave your e-mail, I will also e-mail you this info.
Good luck
George Mander

George,
thank you so much for taking the time to add your beautiful roses. It means a lot to me to see the hybridizers taking an active interest in this great site, and I would love to see others do this too.

Thank you!
