Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, before 1956).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1960 as 'Paprika'.

Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, purple center.  Brick red.  Mild fragrance.  Single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Spreading.  Glossy foliage.  
Height of 20" to 2' (50 to 60 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
