Royal Philharmonic is basically a white version of this rose, but slightly better formed. I grow them side by side.

This rose is reliably winter hardy on its own roots in zone 5. I think HMF description should reflect that. Hardy hybrid teas are rare, this one is a keeper for cold climates. Outstanding disease resistance, constant flowering, weatherproof blooms, perfect form, perfect plant habit. All the superlatives apply to this rose, except for fragrance. It is otherwise, in my opinion, perfect in every way.

Paul....

I have updated the rose page and you might want to take a look at the NOTES on the bottom of the page.
It's wonderful to have site users share their experiences with the roses growing in their gardens.

Thank you.

Smiles,
Lyn

I agree completely with your comments. This rose is a stand-out in my garden, and it grew quickly as an own-root rose.
