Medium red Hybrid Perpetual.
Crimson, white edges. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 4.25". Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Light green foliage. 5 leaflets.
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Different opinions on parentage - see References. Named in honour of Camille Bernardin, lawyer and President of the "Société des Rosiéristes de la Brie" on occasion of the first French rose exhibition at Brie-Comte-Robert on July 10, 1865, later chief editor of "Journal des Roses".
