'Gorgeous George' rose Description

Class:
Hybrid Tea / Large-Flowered.
Bloom:
Red blend, white reverse. Mild fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy, upright, well-branched. Medium, matte, medium green foliage. Height of 31" to 39" (80 to 100 cm). Width of 20" to 2' (50 to 60 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Used for beds and borders, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third.
