Bred by Angelo Asseretto (Italy, 1958).
Introduced in France by Ets. Horticole Léon Pin in 1958 as 'Air France'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, purple highlights.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Modern Roses 10 says this rose is extinct.
