Origin:
Bred by Emmanuel-Denis Buatois (France, 1928).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1930 as 'Felix Laporte'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark purple, dark red flecks.  Strong fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
