Discovered by Pierre Oger (France, 1878).
Introduced in France by Eugène Verdier fils aîne as 'Madame Pierre Oger'.

Bloom:
Blush, rose-pink edges, ages to darker .  Moderate, sweet fragrance.  up to 45 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost), upright.  Light green foliage.  
Height of 39" to 8' (100 to 245 cm).  Width of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  can be trained as a climber.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
