According to Suschkow, also the sorts 'Contrast', 'Ramon Bach', 'Leni Neuss', 'Kathrine Kordes' and especially 'Staatspräsident Päts' are suitable components for hybridisation, especially the last sort produces as seed plant vigorous shrubs with long, straight canes, which end with a bloom at the tip.

Staatsprasident Pats (H.T.) varies considerably in the depth of its colour, which at best is deep maize-yellow. The flowers are large, very double and of high-centred form; growth is vigorous, erect and branching; foliage is dark green and resistant to disease. Weigand 1937....Very fragrant....June-September. Staatspräsident Päts (Weigand 38) Long bud, very large, double, broad petals. Reverse yellowish pink, center lighter, ochre-yellow, Malmaison-form, rigid stem, upright, strong, red prickles, foliage dark brown-red and glossy green, strong fragrance, rose for forcing and cutting.
