Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1867).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Reine de Portugal'.

Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  Shaded coppery-yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
