Origin:
Bred by Jean-Marie Gaujard (1903-1995) (France, before 1950).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1952 as 'Beauté de France'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion, copper shading.  Brick flushed coppery.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Mentioned in the American Rose Annual 1952 as one of the New Roses of the World.
