Origin:
Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 1987).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1987 as 'Bernstein-Rose'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Flowers large, warm amber-yellow.  Moderate, spice fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, old-fashioned bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 2' (60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or cut flower.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
