Origin:
Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 1988).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1994 as 'Viking'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red.  15 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, semi-double to double, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, spreading.  Small, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 28" to 39" (70 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for ground cover.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
