Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1878).

Found Rose, Tea.  

Pink to red, salmon-pink shading.  Variable, sometimes light pink to white.  None to mild fragrance.  Large, very full (41+ petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Height of 2' to 5' (60 to 150 cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 11.  

'Madame Lambard' in commerce is not as in early descriptions.
Pierre Guillot states that 'Madame Lambard' is a descendant of 'Safrano'.- see References.
