Bred by Moreau-Robert (France, 1881).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Mousseline'.

Bloom:
White, blush shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Mossed buds.  
Habit:
Compact.  

Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
