I am in zone 5 a. Does anyone have experience with Royal Sunset in a cold climate?

I have grown this rose, Royal Sunset, for about 15 years???? climbing up a 15 foot tall oak tree. I noticed the lower part was getting sparse so planted a second one a year ago on the opposite side of the tree. The tree is next to our raised deck so you look right into the tree and rose to enjoy it. We have had a "viewing" party to enjoy it at it's prime spring bloom...it is an outstanding
rose.

Here in Oregon, zone 8, it has all the qualities one would want in a climber. Good for a novice gardner or advanced rosarian. Beautifully formed, fragrant blooms against superb glossy foliage that is disease resistant.

This rose has been very worthwhile in my zone 7 garden. Healthy shiny green foliage and beautiful fragrant blooms. Highy recommended
