Introduced in France by Francis Dubreuil in 1883 as 'Perle d'Or'.
Introduced in United States by Unknown (America) in before 1891 as 'Perle d'Or'.
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Perle d'Or'.

Bloom:
Apricot, light pink undertones, ages to white .  Strong fragrance.  Small, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters, reflexed, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, thornless (or almost).  Glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for container rose or garden.  Very hardy.

Heirloom Old Garden Roses says Perle d'Or has small perfectly formed buds of apricot-peach produced in clusters on a compact plant with rich, dark green foliage. It is almost thornless and very similar to 'Cecile Brunner' except for the color...
