Origin:
Bred by Charles Mallerin (France, before 1933).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'Louis Walter'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, orange shading.   (Arbuste vigoureux, feuillage très large, vert franc, bouton ovoïde jaune d’or foncé. Belle rose de printemps et d’automne.).  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Large foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
