Purchased from Houston Garden Centers, 3 gal grafted plant June 2011. This is an extremely tall, very thorny rose with giant 7 in.+ flowers. Highly fragrant. Heat flattens and shrinks the blooms. There are two feet of skinny, naked legs. I currently have this rose in the hybrid tea border, and it doesn't really look very good due to those long, foliage-free canes at the bottom. Had this rose been at the back of the border, it would have been more difficult to enjoy its wonderful flowers.

Update 12/2012- My plant is now eight feet tall! I only pruned it back once this year due to chilli thrips in the Summer.

Update 4/18/2013- After pruning down to about four feet, BB put out more growth from the base and looks more "bushy" now. Light mildew in the Spring.

July 2015- I removed this rose from my collection due to the extreme thorniness.
