Hello Pamela,
Looks like we're in the same boat. I also have been searching for the Seven Sister rose. My grandmother had it in her garden, now my mother who is 79 years old is trying to obtain it. She had got a clipping of one from an employee at a local garden center, who happened to know where one was growing. However it didn't take. Today is 6/27/07. I thought since you have been trying since 2003, that you may have received a reply by now hopefully. Any luck? Please, please reply one way or the other. Thank you

You may want to add your nursery and your nursery inventory to HelpMeFind. It's easy. Just click on NURSERIES on the navigation bar to the left and then click on the ADD MY NURSERY. When it comes time to upload a list of your inventory, just follow the HELP instructions. We tried to make it very easy for nursery owners to put up their inventory on HMF. Once you set up your nursery page, people will know how to contact you. When your inventory is up on the site, site users will be able to see your nursery name when the click the BUY FROM tab on a rose page.

If you have any problems, just contact support -at-helpmefind.com

Smiles,
Lyn

Take one of the long flexible canes that you can bend around to reach the ground.

Rough up an area on the stem, esp. if opposite another stem or leaves.

Put that area down in contact with the ground. Pin down with a piece of wire coat hanger and cover with mulch. Or cover with mulch or leaf mold and put a brick on top to hold in contact with soil.

Check progress, gently, several weeks later. If there are roots, cut off your rooted section and re-plant.
