Dark red. Strong, rose fragrance. Average diameter 4.25". Medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Large, ovoid buds.
Tall, spreading, upright. Dark green, leathery foliage.
Height of 3' to 6' (90 to 185 cm). Width of up to 32" (up to 80 cm).
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for cut flower, garden or landscape. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
