Introduced in United Kingdom by T. Hilling & Co. in 1950 as 'Will Scarlet'.
Introduced in United States by Wayside Gardens in 1956 as 'Will Scarlet'.

Hybrid Musk, Lambertiana, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Red to deep pink.  Mild fragrance.  Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 5' to 8' (150 to 245cm).  Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Produces decorative hips.
