Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1929 as 'Madame Henri Paté'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1931 as 'Madame Henri Paté'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, ages to light yellow .  Strong fragrance.  Very large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
