Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1898).
Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1899 as 'Ards Rover'.

Crimson, brown shading.  Moderate fragrance.  25 petals.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Prune after flowering is finished.
