Bred by William Paul (1822-1905) (United Kingdom, 1882).
Introduced in Australia by J. Scott & Son. in 1889 as 'Duke of Albany'.

Crimson, darker highlights.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
